Bred Well Fed Well Workshop

The first week of August we took rams on display with ASBV reports to a Bred Well Fed Well workshop at “Mooloomoon”, Moulamein.

These workshops are funded by Meat & Livestock Australia (MLA) and Australian Wool Innovation (AWI) as part of a national program to increase productivity and profitability in our industry.

Rick Ellis organised the day with presenters Jason Trompf & Tim Leeming to speak. Rick approached us about bringing rams along that are in the MERINOSELECT database for attendees to use, in conjunction with the information, to give them a better understanding of what ASBVs mean, how they are collected and how to use this information. The day was very well attended and thoroughly worthwhile. Thank you to Nick McKindlay for hosting a fantastic workshop.
