The Dry Conditions Continue
Here are some photos taken recently here at Keri-Keri.
One dam had gone dry so quickly that a magpie landing for its’ daily drink was stuck in the silt.
Andrew spent over an hour getting it out by building a mesh roller that brought it to the shore, however even after being washed and dried in front of the heater for the night – it unfortunately didn’t survive the ordeal.
