Rams withdrawn from ewes
After several months of good feed, following late spring rain, the ewes are back in great shape again. These ewes below are stud ewes of mixed ages. However, late autumn has seen the district return to severe drought conditions. Rain was urgently needed across the entire western division of New South Wales.
Likewise, the 2004 drop of young sale rams were looking very fit and healthy at nine months of age (above). Culling took place in mid-March, and many of the brothers of these future sires dressed out well in excess of 30kg.
